English Language Online Courses and Testing

Moving to a new country can be difficult, especially when English is not your first language. Learning English before you arrive will allow you to fully enjoy your new community.

Many organizations in Canada and overseas offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes online. English Language Testing is also available to help you demonstrate your proficiency of English when you are applying for immigration or employment.

There are several government approved English Language Testing organizations in Canada including: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP). The IELTS is the test most often used for immigration purposes in Canada and is positively recognized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
