The Municipality of Machin is comprised of three communities which are all situated on Eagle Lake. The communities of Machin are: Eagle River, Minnitaki and Vermilion Bay.
A wide array of services and amenities are provided to Machin’s 1,200 residents including shopping, recreational facilities, a medical centre and a Provincial Park.
Tourism, forestry and mining are the primary industries supporting the communities in this area and a number of resorts, hotels and service businesses are scattered throughout the municipality.
