Tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields are also included in our facilities, in addition to the senior’s Golden Club and the Café. Red Rock’s full-size arena also hosts male and female hockey teams and public skating. Monday night is Bingo night in Red Rock, and there is always someone willing to take you to Bingo.

In Red Rock you will find outdoor activities for all abilities, whatever the season. Take a walk along our waterfront and marina where you’ll find breathtaking views over Lake Superior, or explore the picturesque hiking trail that connects Red Rock with the neighbouring town of Nipigon. If you’re a golfer, then you’re also in luck because the nearby North Shore Golf Club is noted for its breathtaking scenery and challenging golf game.

If you like to fish, then you will be in paradise in Red Rock. The fish species in the surrounding rivers and lakes include: Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Lake and Brook Trout, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Perch, Crappie, Sauger, Sturgeon, and Whitefish. In fact, the World Record Brook Trout was caught in the waters near Red Rock. The Red Rock area is also good for hunting moose and partridge.

In the winter, within minutes, there are cross country ski trails and untouched places to snowshoe. The Red Rock area also offers some of the best ice fishing in Northern Ontario, including the fishing derby in March.

History is also to be found in Red Rock and the Town’s Historical Society is a wonderful place to learn more about Red Rock’s storied past.

Red Rock is equally well-known for its festivals and events including the Live from the Rock Blues and Folk Festival; one of the best folk festivals in Canada that features over 25 live performances on five stages every year in August.
